ลำพู กันเสนาะ (เกิด 1983, น่าน) จบการศึกษาทั้งระดับปริญญาตรีและปริญญาโท จาก คณะจิตรกรรมประติมากรรม และภาพพิมพ์ มหาวิทยาลัยศิลปกร เธอพำนักและทำงานอยู่ที่อัมพวา สมุทรสงคราม ลำพูเข้าร่วมในนิทรรศการกลุ่ม และจัดแสดงผลงานในนิทรรศการเดี่ยวอย่างต่อเนื่อง และยังได้รับรางวัลจากการประกวดสำคัญหลายรางวัล ได้แก่ รางวัลยอดเยี่ยมเกียรตินิยมเหรียญทอง ศิลป์ พีระศรี ในศิลปินรุ่นเยาว์ ครั้งที่ 24 ในปี 2007 และ รางวัลยอดเยี่ยมสาขาศิลปะสองมิติ Young Thai Artist Award โดยมูลนิธิเอสซีจี ครั้งที่ 3 ในปี 2005 ลำพู สร้างสรรค์ผลงานจิตรกรรมภาพวาดบุคคลที่มีเอกลักษณ์ด้วยรายละเอียดแบบเนื้อข่าวรายวันที่มีทั้งอารมณ์ขัน รายละเอียดของชีวิตประจำวัน ลำพูบรรยายเรื่องราวของผู้คนผ่านฝีแปรงแบบหยาบ ชั้นสีที่ซ้อนทับกันเต็มไปด้วยการเย้าหยอกและเสียดสีอย่างน่ารักและเป็นกันเอง

lampu kansanoh (born 1983, naan province) completed her undergraduate and graduate studies from the faculty of paintings, sculptures, and graphic arts, silpakorn university. she currently lives and works in amphawa district, samut songkhram province. lamphu has been consistently featured in both group and solo exhibitions, and has even received many prominent awards, such as the silpa bhirasri gold medal award from the 24th young artists contest in 2007, and the grand prize from the 3rd young thai artist awards’ two-dimensional art category, hosted by the SCG foundation in 2005. lampu has created many of her signature portrait paintings using humorous details from the daily news, depicting the mundanity of everyday life. The artist describes the stories of people through her rough brush strokes and layered colors, infused with a teasing satire that is endearing and unpretentious.
lampu’s paintings communicate with their audiences with a voice so clear it has become a hallmark. her attention to the details of the identity of a normal person, which presents themselves with earnesty through their facial expressions whether they are feeling surprised, happy, sad, or excited. these people are akin to characters that fulfill the scene of a welfare state in its ideal state, displaying over-enthusiastic reactions seen in stage plays. the complexity of humanity that is tied to our life expectancy and time manifests itself on our skin and bodies, so that only lampu’s artwork can reveal what lies hidden in the hearts of people. local dynasty is lampu’s first mixed-media work, one that still incorporates society’s bottom line as a main component as the work reflects a small and intriguing angle of society without compromising the teasing voice lampu is known for.
